The Art al Set Gallery from Andorra is holding its tenth anniversary, and to commemorate this outstanding date, has organized an exhibition of paintings by Josep Puigmartí in the common areas of the Andorra Park Hotel.
Josep Puigmartí exhibited at the Art al Set Gallery five years ago. Then, he presented his latest creations gathered under the name of "Big Bang Pearls". Artworks filled with a gesture and spontaneity as primary as the explosion that gave origin to all that is now in the universe.

The artist of Hotel Estela Barcelona - Hotel del Arte features also which is the last of his series: "Remaining". This is a step back to his creations of the 70's and 80's, when he created a unique style of fine erotic surrealism which embodied his beautiful muses that were able to seduce critics and art lovers. However, Puigmartí has never been a supporter of self-plagiarism, so, this new suite incorporates automatisms, gestures and taste for the stain of his later periods. Hence the name chosen for the series, "Remaining" (or Remember), ie what remains from those times, but now mixed with his technique much more direct and unpredictable.
Indeed, his works caused a great feeling to attendees. Including a large number of journalists who could not stop to interview and photograph him.
The following day, every newspaper in the country of the Pyrenees echoed the success of the exhibition, the quality of the artworks and, especially, Puigmarti's charisma and personality, appearing on the front page of El Periòdic d'Andorra or making an appearance in the programme "La Rotonda" from the Andorran television.
These are some of the articles and reports that were published:
